- Possessive Adjectives agree in gender, number
- Must be repeated before each noun.
- mon, ton, and son are used instead of ma, ta, and sa before singular feminine nouns that begin with a vowel or silent h.
- à lui or à elle are added if it is necessary to distinguish between his and her.
Ex. C’est sa clef à lui
- With body parts, possessive adjectives are replaced by definite articles
Ex. Je me suis coupé le doigt.
Il veut lui donner son héritage à elle ?
Ne me prête pas ta voiture à moi
J’ai ma propre voiture
Leur Ils ont leur livre ouvert. – singulier
Ces étudiants aiment leur prof.
